The Dark (2004)

Adele (Maria Bello) and daughter Sarah (Sophie Stuckey) travel to Wales to reconnect with husband/father James (Sean Bean). Soon after the family has moved into a farmhouse, Sarah disappears mysteriously on the beach. This is followed shortly by the even more mysterious appearance of a young woman who supposedly died 60 years ago -- who bears a striking resemblance to Sarah. Adele, meanwhile, is convinced Sarah is still alive, and begins a strange quest that takes her into the heart of supernatural Welsh legend to find her.

The cast includes: Maria Bello, Sean Bean, and Sophie Stuckey.
