A remake of the classic 1963's "The Haunting," the film is about a group of insomniacs who volunteer for an experiment that requires them to stay at a massive old mansion to undergo testing for "diagnostic" insomnia studies. But the patient's "Doctor" is secretly conducting experiments on human fear. As the week progresses the insomniacs begin to piece together the terrifying mystery of the mansion's former owner. Concluding the house is a sentient evil; the patients must battle a terrifying spirit to escape their worst nightmare before it takes their lives.

The cast includes: Catherine Zeta-Jones, Lili Taylor, Liam Neeson, Owen Wilson, Bruce Dern, Marian Seldes, Todd Field, Alix Koromzay, and Michael Cavanaugh.
