Thelma and Louise (1991)

Two Arkansas women find themselves in a bit of a bind after their weekend getaway ends in the death of a man who attempted to rape Thelma. With incriminating circumstances working against the girls, the two fugitives hit the road and make a run for the border. But with police hot on their trails, their only hope lies with a local authority sympathetic to their case. As the pursuit continues the women find strength in their bond of friendship and their zany adventures on the open road.
