This 1970s classic from Jim Henson tells the story of how the Muppets came to be. When he decides to pursue an acting career, Kermit the Frog embarks on a cross-country journey in search of Hollywood stardom. Along the way he meets the cast companions we've come to know and love -- Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo, and all the rest. Of course every story needs a villain, a role filled here by Doc Hopper, who thinks Kermit would be the perfect spokesman for his chain of Frog Leg restaurants.
