The Trojan Women (1971)

Katharine Hepburn (as Hecuba, Queen of Troy) leads an all-star cast in this lavish production based on the Greek tragedy by Euripides, a bleak account of a war-torn Troy and the women who lived and suffered inside its walls. Hecuba heads an anti-war faction among the women, including the widow Andromache (played by Vanessa Redgrave) and the tormented Cassandra (Genevieve Bujold). 

The cast includes: Katharine Hepburn, Vanessa Redgrave, Genevieve Bujold, Patrick Magee, and Irene Papas.
