19th century scientist Alexander Hartdegen believes in time travel: a vision he hopes to prove to the world via his time-traveling machine. When his love is suddenly murdered, Hartdgen desperately races to finish his contraption so that he can travel back in time and alter the events of that fateful night. But, a malfunction shoots Hartdegen into the future whereby man has reverted back to him primordial past of hunter gather societies easily as hunted as they hunt.

The cast includes: Guy Pearce, Phyllida Law, Mark Addy, Connie Ray, Jeremy Irons, Orlando Jones, John W. Momrow, Max Baker, and Samantha Mumba.
