Producer Horace Hardwick's latest protégé Jerry Travers has a few ideas of his own. Late one night Travers decides to demonstrate his newest dance steps to Hardwick, awakening the likes of a Miss Dale Tremont below. When she proceeds to go upstairs and complain she finds herself instantly attracted to Jerry, or is it Horace? Things get sticky when Dale makes an honest mistake and confuses the showman for his producer.

The cast includes: Ginger Rogers, Fred Astaire, Erik Rhodes, Edward Everett Horton, Eric Blore, and Helen Broderick.
