Troy (2004) - R

Plot: 1193 B.C. and Prince of Troy, Paris, has just set sail from Sparta bringing Helen, Queen of Sparta, with him. Enraged, King Menelaus, Helen's husband and ruler of Mycenae Greece, wages war with Troy in rebuttal to Paris and Helen's disrespect. The Greeks make their way to Troy where the war ensues with Achilles, notorious rebel war hero, fighting on behalf of the Greeks. With Hector, eldest son to Troy's great King Priam, as the only hope for the city of Troy, it is only a matter of time before Hector and Achilles face off. Love triangles ensue, and the tragic fates of Homer's famous characters play out in this modern day adaptation.
