Twelve O'Clock High (1949)

After suffering heavy losses to Germany, an American Bomber Squad is low on morale and lackluster in their performance. When their Commander is relieved of duty, staff chief General Frank Savage is sent to inspire the pitiable pilots. Facing a slew of adversity, Savage overcomes the opposition of the men and teaches them how to serve the Army Air Corps with pride.

The cast includes: Gary Merrill, Hugh Marlowe, Gregory Peck, Millard Mitchell, Paul Stewart, Robert Arthur, Dean Jagger, John Kellog, and Robert Patton.

TWELVE O'CLOCK HIGH was nominated for the Best Picture award.
