After a boat on San Pedro pier explodes, unveiling 27 bodies, $91 million dollars in drug money, a burned Hungarian terrorist, and con-man Verbal Kint, the police decide to open up an investigation; pressuring Kint to talk. Using Kint's story as their primary lead in the case, Kint tells of five criminals taken in by New York police in search of identifying criminals suspected of hijacking a truck. It seems the five men, your usual suspects, have taken up a case in search of revenge. But, as it turns out, the men have each crossed the wrong person at the wrong time, and their latest crime, the San Pedro boat job, proves to be a fatal disaster with a different criminal mastermind pulling all the strings.
