Wait Until Dark (1967)
When a woman asks Susie's husband to hold a "doll" with smuggled drugs for her as they get off an airplane the woman suddenly disappears. Later the woman's body is found in Susie's apartment by small time hoods Mike and Carlino. With Mike pretending to be an old friend of Susie's husband the two crooks take advantage of Susie's blindness and fake a police investigation to hide their personal agenda for finding the doll. But the dead woman's partner, Harry Rote is the real killer. Now with three men after the doll a blind woman is left alone to defend herself from a situation she doesn't quite know how she walked into. The cast includes: Audrey Hepburn, Richard Crenna, Alan Arkin, Efrem Zimbalist Jr., Jack Weston, Julie Herrod, and Samantha Jones. Directed by: Terence Young.
