When "Toon" star Roger Rabbit becomes worried that his attractive wife Jessica might be "playing pattycake" with another man, the studio hires detective Eddie Valiant to follow her every move. But when Marvin Acme is soon found dead with Roger as the prime suspect, it is up to Valiant to solve the case before it is too late, which might mean taking trips back and forth between the real world and that of the animated "Toon Town".
