Former Civil War hero gunslinger Jim West is teamed with ingénue U.S. Marshal Artemus Gordon by President Ulysses Grant to avenge the wrongs of criminal mind Confederate Arliss Loveless. On an adventurously daredevil ride by train from Washington to Utah, West and Gordon do their best to take down Loveless and his threatening weaponry before its too late.
