Wyatt Earp (1994)

This extended, biographical portrait of the famed gunfighter chronicles his life, from boyhood to the showdown at the O.K. corral and beyond. Kevin Costner heads an all-star cast in Director Lawrence Kasdan's epic, featuring Gene Hackman as Earp's father, Dennis Quaid as Doc Holliday, Mark Harmon, and Bill Pullman.  Unlike other accounts of Earp, this movie treats the Tombstone, Arizona shootout as only one episode in the rich, varied life of a famous man.
