The Philadelphia Experiment (1984 - PG)

Philadelphia Experiment is a well-done time-travel adventure with a love story as a subplot! In 1943, in he middle of WW2, the US Army conducts an experiment that would give them an advantage in the naval war, using  electro magnetic fields to hopefully make a naval battleship invisible to foes. Unfortunately, the experiment causes an electrical storm whcih causes havoc for the ship, and disrupts the time space continuum, propeling two sailors into 1984, 40 years in their future.

This film could be compared to "Starman," and "The Final Countdown." THE PHILADELPHIA EXPERIMENT features romance, action, and good FX. A highlight of the picture is a scene where Pare undertakes a dangerous trip into a time storm. Bobby DiCicco (Prince of the City) offers great support as Pare's sailor buddy.

The cast includes: Michael Pare, Nancy Allen, Bobby DiCicco, Eric Christmas, and Kene Holiday.

Directed by Stewart Raffill.
