STAR TREK GENERATIONS (1994)

The Starship Enterprise's maiden voyage is unexpectedly interrupted by a need to rescue two transport ships in a mysterious energy ribbon known as the Nexus. During the voyage, however, Captain Kirk is suddenly swept out to space.  Seven decades and some years later, Captain Picard, head of the Enterprise-D crew, goes head to head with an evil scientist by the name of Soren who is mercilessly killing off entire star systems.  As the Enterprise-D struggles to derail Soren's evil plans it seems the only man capable of stopping him has been dead for more than seventy-eight years…

The cast includes: Patrick Stewart, Wiliam Shatner, Malcom McDowell, Jonathan Frakes, Brent Spiner, Le Var Burton, Michael Dorn, Gates McFadden, Marina Sirtis, James Doohan, Walter Koenig, Barbara March, Gwyneth Walsh, Alan Ruck, and Whoopi Goldberg.
