This episode features exciting battle scenes between the local Yangs and Kohms, bitter enemies. A highlight of 'The Omega Glory" is Captain Kirk dramatically reciting the preamble to the U.S. Constitution. It's enough to make anybody feel patriotic. SYNOPSIS...
The Enterprise reaches the planet Omega. Beaming down the encounter Star Fleet Captain Tracey.

The planet has two warring people on it, the Yangs and the Kohms. Kirk is shocked that Tracey is arming one side in the conflict with phasers, in violation of Star Fleet policy.

Kirk discovers the Yangs and Kohms are descendants of Americans and Red Chinese communists who crashed on the planet many years before. Kirk reads from the preamble to the U.S. Constitution, and helps to restore order in the society.
