PLOT SUMMARY...
Captain Kirk finds himself on a deserted Enterprise, with an alien woman for company.

This "Star Trek" grapples with the issue of over population. Sharon Acker ("The New Perry Mason") is moving as the beautiful alien woman Odona. This episode has a very odd feel to it, as many scenes feature a deserted Enterprise, except for Kirk and Odona. Stanley Adams Co-Wrote the script for "Mark of Gideon". He played the tribble salesman in "The Trouble With Tribbles."

SYNOPSIS...
The Enterprise shows up at the planet Gideon. When he goes to transport down, he can't.

Kirk discovers that everyone aboard the Enterprise is missing. He encounters a beautiful alien woman.

It turns out that Kirk is actually aboard a mockup aboard the Enterprise, and not the real one. Kirk gets back to the real Enterprise.
