PLOT SUMMARY...
At a space station, Kirk and gang encounter Klingons, poisoned wheat, rapidly multiplying fuzzy alien critters.

This episode features entertaining Federation - Klingon conflicts including a memorable bar room brawl. "The Trouble with Tribbles" frequently shows up on Trekker's top ten list, and it's easily the most fun of any Classic "Trek" episode. SYNOPSIS...
The Enterprise and Klingons both show up at space station K-7 for shore leave. A reluctant Kirk is given the job of protecting a wheat shipment.

A local trader aboard the station, Cyrano Jones, sells a small, fuzzy, alien animal called a Tribble to Uhura. Soon both the Enterprise and the station are crawling with Tribbles. Meanwhile, Federation and Klingon crews get into a big brawl.

The Tribbles eat the wheat, get sick, then die. It turns out that the wheat was poisoned. A Federation aid turns out to be a surgically altered Klingon. The Tribbles are beamed aboard the Klingon ship.
