SYNOPSIS...
The Enterprise accidentally travels back in time to the 20th
century. In the present (1968), Air Force jets are sent up in
pursuit of a UFO. The "UFO" is actually the U.S.S.
Enterprise. Kirk must beam aboard Air Force pilot, John Christopher,
whose jet is breaking up, while in the grip of an Enterprise
tractor beam.
Kirk and a landing party beam down to an Air Force installation,
their goal to remove traces of the Enterprise's trip to "the
present". Kirk is caught by a security guard. Soon, the
security guard is transported to the Enterprise.
Aboard the Enterprise, the Air Force pilot is informed his unborn
son will head the first Mars expedition. The pilot is beamed
back to his jet with no memory of his strange encounter. The
Enterprise time warps back to the future.
