PLOT SUMMARY...
On an alien world, the Enterprise crew encounters a deadly, female hologram.

This episode features bizarre encounters between Kirk and company and a deadly, female alien hologram. Spock fans get to watch him command the Enterprise. Lee Meriwether ("Barnaby Jones") is appropriately mysterious and other worldly as Losira, the hologram.

SYNOPSIS...
The Enterprise arrives at a seemingly deserted planet. Kirk and company encounter an alien woman, Losira, who can kill with a touch.

The Enterprise is hurled many light years away. Kirk and the others are trapped on the planet. Several members of the crew are touched by the woman and die.

Spock beams down and zaps the planet's computer, eliminating the alien menace. Back on the Enterprise, Kirk, McCoy and the other surviving members of the landing party warp out of orbit.
