PLOT SUMMARY...
The Enterprise encounters a primitive, child-like society is controlled by a computer inside a cave.

This episode features another example of Kirk's disruption of alien societies. This is basically a heavy handed allegory about the Garden of Eden. Chekov fans may enjoy watching him smooch with Yeoman Martha Landon. Native David Soul ("Starsky and Hutch") learns how to kiss by watching Chekov makeout!

SYNOPSIS...
The Enterprise beams the landing party down to a planet where they encounter simple, child-like aliens in a Garden of Eden like paradise.

The natives know nothing of love or sex. They turn out to be controlled by a computer inside a cave with a dragon's head.

Kirk has the Enterprise phaser the cave, destroying it. Having permanently altered the planet's society, the Enterprise exits.
