PLOT SUMMARY...
Scotty's girlfriend becomes possessed by a strange alien cloud creature.

This episode features a love interest for Scotty, a rather rare occurance. Jan Shutan ("This House Possessed") does what she can with the role of Lt. Mira Romaine, Scotty's girlfriend and the host to an alien presence. This episode was Co-Written by puppet master Shari Lewis. Lamb Chop does not make an appearance.

SYNOPSIS...
The Enterprise, on a voyage to a memory Alpha, which houses the Federation's main library memory banks and related personnel, encounters a cloud capable of warp speed. The alien cloud destroys the memory banks and kills everyone on the library planet.

Scotty's girlfriend, Lt. Mira Romaine, starts passing out periodically. It turns out the cloud creature has entered the Enterprise invaded her body.

Lt. Mira Romaine is put into an anti-gravity chamber. The Lights of Zetar are eventually flushed out of her system.
